Celebrating Father's with Eklectique

Hi everyone! I have a fun layout to share with you today.  I created this layout of my husband and kiddos (Pumpkin -my pomeranian- included of course) using the beautiful Eklectique range and ink from our wonderful swap partner this month- Clearsnap.
Lo-pattiebeltran
Eklectique's color palette is very warm and perfect for any of your masculine crafting needs.  I used the Fundamentals Accents pack in black for some contrast and of course the pink trims from the Reminisce range (the men in my family know that pink will pop up somewhere in all of their cards and layouts- sorry guys, can't help it :)

I used one of the Bella! Bling swirls to accent and highlight the photo and corner of my layout.  If you haven't used the Bella! Bling yet, oh my gosh!  This stuff rocks!  Really easy to use ( I don't like wrestling with my bling packs to try to remove my bling and by the time I'm done and have removed my sparkles- they are ruined! Anyone else have this happen to them?) and actually stick to my project- awesome!

I stamped some text in the opposing corners of my layout as well- love the effect!  I cut some of the Fundamental tags into banners and used that to mat my title.

Something Old, Something New- Punky Style

Hi everyone.  I have a  cute mini album  to share today that I created using one of Punky Sprouts "vintage" mini albums.  I played with the beautiful Punky Love album- swoon!
I love the combo of the canvas, chipboard and acrylic sheets in this album!  Especially the layering that effect on the cover.  I used some paint to create a slight texture around the edge of the acrylic sheet and then used a Sharpie to add some dots.

Here is a close-up of the flowers I created using the Lil' Blossoms- Parchment and the new Lil' Seeds (buttons).  These are hand dyed by Shelly, the owner of Punky Sprouts.  Isn't that awesome!!

This album has such a sweet, romantic feel to it that I just had to use soft colors and of course the Lil' Blossoms Lacy doilies. They are just gorgeous!!

Here is a look at some of the new lace that Punky Sprouts is now carrying- absolutely beautiful!!

This is my Dad-  he is so cute!!

I used the Fundamentals Imprints card bases to create the background for my layout.  I swiped some ink over the embossed portions of the card front and then I stamped onto the backside of the card.  I cut the card front from the card back and used those as the background of my layout.

I used the beautiful embossed Bella! cardstock to make these flowers.  Bella! Bling stickers make the perfect centers for these sweet flowers!

Here is a close-up of the background as well as the Vellum that I used.  Some crazy stitching perfectly finished off the look.

Quick cards using Fundamentals Card Making supplies and Clearsnap!

Hi everyone!  I have some quick and easy cards to share with you today. We are featuring our Fundamentals Card making supplies this month as well as a fun product swap with Clearsnap products. Card2-pattiebeltran
I made this fun card for my dad using the Fundamental Imprints card bases.  The card bases are made from such a nice, heavy cardstock. These bases can take all of the inking, spraying, distressing and stitching that your heart may desire.  Plus, they are embossed.  Embossed white card bases are all the rage now, making these card bases such a time saver!!

For this card, I used the Fundamentals Accents packs.  The Accents pack have such cute embellies for all of your paper crafting needs.  I also used a piece of trim to create the grass on my card- quick way to add some dimension without bulk.

For my last card, I used the Fundamentals Die Cuts pack and the Decoupage Pack.  The die cuts packs have cute accents pieces that are perfect for creating fast cards!  I also rubbed ink across all of the card bases for some quick dimension and color.

This sweet little butterfly is from the Bella! Bling collection.  Instead of peeling the bling from the acetate release, I cut around it.  Then I folded the butterfly along the body's center and placed a Zot dot underneath it.  This allowed me to create some motion with the bling!

A Pretty Punky Vintage Sachet featuring Faber Castell

Hi everyone!  I have a vintage sachet to show today featuring Faber Castell.  I love the Punky Sprouts mini albums, but I also love taking the books apart and using the inside pages to create different crafty projects.  I used a canvas page to create this fragrant sachet and used the awesome products that were generously given to us by Faber Castell.

In order to get the vintage image onto the canvas, I printed the photo on my Epson printer.  I used Faber Castell's Gel Medium to transfer the image onto the canvas.

Here is a close-up of the lace flower and one of the silk ribbon flowers that I embroidered.  I used both the Gelatos and the Paper Crafter Crayons to color the lace and the enhance and color my silk ribbons.

I also made this sweet little card to go along with my sachet.
