Oriental Chic Cards

Hi everyone.  Today, I have a  couple of cards that I created with the beautiful new Oriental Chic range along with a stamp from our swap partner, Some Odd Girl Stamps.

This card was so much fun to create!  The colors in the Oriental Chic range are so rich and warm, yet they are really versatile for everyday use.  I also had a lot of fun coloring!

The embellishments from the Oriental Chic range are awesome as well.  I layered some of them and used some foam adhesive to create dimension.

I also created this cute little card.  This beautiful bird embellie is from the Die Cut Pad embellishment pack.  Each pack has multiple designs in the pad and 3 of each design.  I think my favorite part of the pack is one of the sheets from each design is glittered.  Everything is better with glitter!!

Mother Nature Mother's Day project

Hi everyone!  I have an off the page Mother's Day project to share with you today.  Mother's Day is such a special time to express to our Mom's just how precious they are to us and how much we appreciate all they have done for us.

I created this wall decor using the ever beautiful Mother Nature range.  I absolutely love the soft colors of this range and how versatile it is.

I used the gorgeous florals from the Bella! collection along with some Funadamentals embellishments.
I spelled out Mother and hand wrote some sentiments to describe just how awesome moms are!!

So go ahead, for those of us blessed to still have our mom's, call your mom, hug your mom and tell her how much you love her.

Creative Cards

Hi everyone!   I have a couple of cards to share with today that I created using the new range from Ruby Rock-It called Heritage.  I love all things vintage and this paper is so perfect for all of your shabby or vintage inspired crafting.

I used the beautiful Fundamentals Imprint card bases to create both of these cards.  They are made of a beautifully embossed, ultra heavy weight cardstock and are perfect for all of your card creating.  You can always cover up the embossed fronts, or like in this card, I used ink to enhance the delicate embossed details.

The Heritage Die-Cut pack has the most beautiful embellies that are glittered and ready to use.

For this card, I decided to get a little creative and turn a standard card base into a tri-fold card.  I turned the card base so that the card opens from the left versus the standard right.  I then cut 1/8" off of the front of the card.  I used the Butterfly sheet from the Heritage Die-Cut Pad.  I cut a small strip of white cardstock and scored it down the center.  This is what I used to create the tri-fold.  I adhered the butterfly Die-cut to the front of the folded flap of white cardstock.  Then I glued the other side of the white flap to the back of the card.  Below is a picture of the flap opened.  I placed the flower accents onto the front of the card to help keep the flap closed.

I created a card from the beautiful new Heritage paper range from Ruby Rock-It.

I had so much fun layering the die cuts from the Die-Cut Pack on this card.  The colors are perfect for really any project, but I especially love them for girly cards, projects and Mother's Day projects (It's this Sunday ladies).
